A busy restaurant kitchen doesn't have a single chef doing everything. There's a cook who preps the vegetables, one who grills the meat, one who plates each dish beautifully, and a head chef who coordinates them all and checks every plate before it leaves. Each cook is excellent at one thing. Together, they serve a hundred meals an hour, faster and better than one person running around trying to do it all. A multi-agent system is a kitchen like this, but with AI agents: each has a specialty, and they hand work to each other.
