Objectives

By the end of this TP, you will be able to:

  • Write a Dockerfile and build an application image.
  • Manage persistence (volumes) and communication between containers (networks).
  • Configure Nginx as a reverse proxy / load balancer.
  • Deploy a mini stack on a Docker Swarm cluster and scale it.

Context

You containerize a simple application (yours or a provided web app), then place it behind Nginx and deploy it in Swarm with several replicas.
