Week 7 — Lesson 3: Silhouette score and PCA

3 min

Clustering has no label, so there is no accuracy to report for the NorthPeak operating modes. The silhouette score fills that gap: one number that says how clean the clusters are. And four sensor columns make four dimensions that nobody can draw; PCA projects them onto two axes that keep 80 % of the variance. This lesson explains both tools, reads a silhouette of 0.256 for k = 3, and names the two axes from their loadings.
