NorthPeak wants to know one thing: will the model work next quarter? You cut data/features.csv four ways. For each cut you count the rows, measure the share of faults on each side, and count the "neighbours": test rows whose previous day, on the same machine, sits in train. That last number shows how much each split lets the model peek.
