The model writes SQL. You did not write it, and you cannot trust it. Model-written SQL must never reach a NorthPeak database that can be changed, so two walls stand between the model and diagnostics.sqlite: a connection opened read-only, and a validator that reads every query before SQLite does. This lesson opens the connection, lists the four rules of the validator, and shows both on the queries of Exercise 2.
