What Is a Random Forest?

A random forest is just a big group of decision trees working together and voting on the answer.

Imagine it like this: Instead of asking one friend "Is this movie good?", you ask 100 friends who all watched it a little differently. Then you follow the majority opinion. A crowd of opinions is often wiser than a single one!

Examples:

• Banks use forests of trees to decide whether a loan is risky
• Medical tools use them to help predict diseases

So? A single tree can be wrong, but a whole forest voting together is usually much more accurate and reliable.
